MANGO AND LIME JAMAICAN BLACK CASTOR OIL
The oil is a great, although it is a lot thicker and has an orange, brown color to it (unlike a light yellow color). The coloring is not an issue however as the oil does get absorbed into the hair, as long as you apply sparingly. I apply the oil in, using an applicator bottle to apply the oil to my tracks. I do this about twice a day and find my hair all smooth and moisturized when I take it down from any braids or extensions.
I use this oil for over two years now and my hairs are strong and smooth! since I use it I don't have to relax or straighten my hair anymore. I have no more breakage on my edges, I just love this wonder oil.
One of the great things about this product is the versatility - it can not only be used for hair but also skin, eyebrows, lashes, and aromatherapy. I imagine the tingling relaxing sensation that will accompany the oil application to my scalp. Although Castor oil, in general, is known to stimulate and help with hair growth.
Lastly, the ingredients list is simple and doesn't contain any unnecessary chemicals.
OGX Hydrating Macadamia Penetrating Oil
First of all this oil smells really nice (as do all the OGX oils I’ve previously used). The consistency of the oil is quite thick but easy pours out onto your hand. You can apply this oil to damp or dry hair and it works great to help control frizz and define curls whilst also adding a nice shine to straight hair.
Usually, I would use an oil along with another leave in products but on this occasion, I used just the oil to see its effects in my hair.
I applied the oil mostly to my wavy Indian Hair extensions, to blow dry or to straighten. My hairs were left looking glossy and defined. The product isn’t too heavy on the hair and so my hair was left feeling light weight and soft too. Because this product isn’t too greasy it's good for use on straight, curly and wavy hair, as it is meant for all hair types.
