GIVE A CHANCE is funded by events, donations and fundraising in Basel and the surrounding area. With the GIVE A CHANCE CONCERT and other events, they will be giving young, well-known and unknown talents in Switzerland the opportunity to present themselves on stage with music, dance and other creative projects, while at the same time drawing attention to their educational Projects.

«GIVE A CHANCE, GIVE A FUTURE! »Briefly« GIVE A CHANCE » is a club founded in 2010 by students of the University of Basel. The association is committed to the education and development of children and adolescents. With his social projects, he ensures that children and young people receive a platform where they can build up competences and realize themselves. In Switzerland, they organize events where young highly-talented artists get the chance to present their skills to a wide audience. Furthermore, the active team members gain practical experience in project management, planning, organization and realization of their own projects. GIVE A CHANCE Thus enabling all parties involved to develop their skills and competences, which can be profoundly benefited in future professional fields.


They are a youth movement that aims to improve the prospects for African children by investing in their education. The aid project is coordinated from Basel and carried out personally in Africa (previously in Cameroon). In direct contact, they're ensure that the necessary help is ensured and where it is needed. GIVE A CHANCE is in close contact with the Swiss Embassy in Cameroon and the delegates of the school system. Interested students and volunteers bring their expertise and skills to work, develop and develop them by helping to create, plan and implement projects. Professional and qualitative work is very important to them.

Give a Chance, Give a Future! is a non-profit non-governmental organization that dedicates itself to the support of the self-development of less-privileged children and young adults from African countries by providing them with financial support during their schooling and beyond as they attempt to further their academic or vocational education. Founded by a group of students and young professionals from Basel and supported by the University of Basel, their organization is working closely with local grassroots organisations and NGOs as well as state actors throughout the African continent.
